The problem of unemployment is the most serious problem. Facing our country. A large number of educated and uneducated people loiter about in search of some job. They are willing to work but they cannot get it. There is unemployment in cities, towns, and even in villages.
Unemployment is one of the major economic problems. The problem of Unemployment means a lack of work. But the quantum of work and number of posts have been decreasing.
Causes of Unemployment :
There are many causes of Unemployment in India:-
First of all the overpopulation of the country, which brings competition in all professional sections.
The ineffective education system, which fails in the proper development of a student as a professional employee with complete knowledge including theoretical information and practical experiences.
Underdeveloped rural areas from where people are moving towards the developed urban areas for finding a job or other professional career.
Underdeveloped business sectors are still not an attraction for students as working places like the agriculture field and cottage industries.
Criteria of selecting candidates with having an experience rather than fresher, this ends the problem of unemployment.
Some Suggestions for solving the problem :
There should be a check on the rapid growth of the population. The program of family planning should be made more popular in rural areas. All efforts should be made in this direction. The system of education should be changed. Importance should be given to technical and vocational education. Education should be sound and practical.
Government should create more jobs for the educated unemployed. Cottage and small-scale industries should be developed. Banks should advance loans to youths to set up small industries.
Conclusion :
The national crisis of unemployment affects a huge population of India, especially a youth generation who are the future leaders of our country. Thus the result of unemployment comes in the form of the non-development of the nation.
Though the government has taken too many steps regarding removing this problem from India but still could not be able to get complete success. It’s time for the people of India along with the government to become together and face this problem with unity.
